Due to an abundance of fraudulent overseas
and foreign transactions, all Allegius DAC debit
cards are blocked. If the transaction(s) are
processed through a company that originates
in a foreign country (i.e. Mexico, Canada, and
Europe to only name a few), then the purchase
will automatically be declined.
Transactions that will be blocked are:
• Making a purchase online
• Making a purchase over the phone
• Traveling abroad
Before you attempt to make a foreign
purchase or travel abroad, you will need to
contact the credit union at 800-537-8386 or
219-787-8049 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday
through Friday. Please have ready the dates you
will be traveling or potentially making your
purchase(s). Upon verification of your identity,
the block will be temporary lifted.
